Because it makes every mission look similar. The other thing is, I think Tt really has to get out of the idea of "beat the boss, finish the mission". The first problem ,which was noticeable from the very first moment in the game, was that there were too many unnecessary (and UNSKIPPABLE!) cutscenes which really slowed pace of the game. There were also some problems that I encountered with in the game. It was so entertaining to make your own characters and give them different abilities and weapons.
Customizing characters was my favorite part. One of the positive points of game was that there were more than 200 playable characters!
